Kristin is a change strategist focused on inspiring and creating a more sustainable economy. She leverages her twenty years of experience in strategic planning, finance, operations, marketing, training, and business transformation to create meaningful sustainable strategies that address economic, environmental and social challenges. Most recently through her work as Chief Development Officer for Cutting Edge Capital, she has advised the California Air Resources Board on market-monitoring techniques for California’s newly launched Cap and Trade System. She has also been deeply engaged with creating a Climate Action & Sustainability Plan for the City of Napa, developing a Sustainable Operating and Implementation Plan for KSL Capital, developing a Sustainability Road Map for Columbia College, and researching a sustainable value chain model for the San Francisco Bay Area food system.
At Presidio, Kristin brings her passion for sustainable urban development. She brings her current and past work experience into the classroom including seven years at a Big 6 Accounting and Consulting firm as a Senior Manager specializing in the hospitality, real estate, retail, food processing and manufacturing industries. She primarily focused on financial and operational restructuring, strategic business planning, crisis mitigation, and managing the return to financial viability. Kristin has a BS degree in Management and an MBA in Finance from the University of San Francisco and an EMBA in Sustainable Management at the Presidio Graduate School. She also dedicates herself to two of her passions, recreation, and food by serving as Board Chair for the Truckee Donner Parks and Recreation District and on the Board of the Tahoe Food Hub.
