Carlos Davidson, PhD

Adjunct Professor

Carlos Davidson is a retired Professor of Environmental Studies at San Francisco State University. He is interested in issues of environmental justice, sustainability, and climate change. Davidson has been active in sustainability issues on the SF State campus and in the City of Pacifica, where he helped found the University Sustainability Committee, co-authored the campus’ first greenhouse gas emissions inventory, and worked on the first campus climate action plan. In Pacifica, he wrote the first greenhouse gas inventory for the city and served as chair of the city’s Climate Action Plan Task Force which produced the city’s climate action plan.
