Clair Stocks, EdD
Vice President of Academic Administration & Institutional Effectiveness
As the Vice President of Academic Administration & Institutional Effectiveness at Presidio Graduate School, my role is to ensure students have a rewarding educational experience through a combination of high personal engagement, regulatory compliance, and robust data analytics. I have a student-centric philosophy that centers student needs and prioritizes building strong, lasting relationships between cohorts, faculty, staff, and administration. I am committed to the mission and vision of PGS as an institution that builds changemakers who will shape practices in sustainability, social justice, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
I have been working in higher education for over 15 years serving in leadership roles in student services, registrar services, and institutional research. I have been privileged to work with thousands of students as they fulfill their personal, professional, and academic goals. I have dual B.A.s in English and Philosophy from the University of La Verne and a M.S. in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. I am currently working on my Ed.D. in Leadership with a specialization in Higher Education at the American College of Education. My research focus is on how social influence regarding online education impacts student self-efficacy.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my partner and my teenage son, baking, crocheting, and traveling. My most oft traveled to destination is Buckie, Scotland where my dad and two siblings live. My favorite city I’ve visited is Barcelona, Spain.
