PositionAdmissions and Outreach Specialist
I am a Los Angeles native that has now lived in Sonoma County for the last 10 years. The son of immigrants from Central America, I have a deep connection with the struggles marginalized immigrant communities must face, and the opportunities they must seize upon in making a life for their families in a new country. This being the case, Presidio’s values of Community, Integrity, and Social Justice especially resonate with me.
I completed my graduate education at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, earning a Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree, and completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biblical and Theological Studies for my undergraduate studies. My professional experience includes broad non–profit and higher education administration, including a stint as an admissions staff member at a theological institution. The best part of working in an admissions environment is the opportunity to create connections with people and assist them in taking tangible steps toward their goals. I am grateful for the opportunity to return to higher education and serve as the Admissions and Outreach Specialist here at Presidio Graduate School.
In my time away from work I like to explore Sonoma County with my wife, listen obsessively to Jazz, and read books related to history, ethics, and theology. I also stay engaged in my community by serving as a District 2 Commissioner on the Sonoma County Commission on Human Rights.
