Neli Avila

As the Director of Admissions, I oversee the recruitment and admissions process for incoming students at Presidio Graduate School.  My goal is to ensure that the admissions process is a positive experience for all students and that they feel supported every step of the way. As a first-generation college student, I became passionate about access to higher education and have spent most of my professional career demystifying the college application process for underrepresented communities. I am a strong proponent of equitable education and enjoy working with students to help them explore their educational aspirations and how they can make a change in the world.

When I am not working with students, I enjoy playing volleyball, traveling, trying new foods, and reading mystery and thriller books.
