Nicolette is a sustainability expert and seasoned practitioner in the private, non-profit, and public sectors. She is currently an independent advisor helping corporations and organizations drive innovative social impact strategies and partnerships. Most recently she was the Head of Corporate Responsibility (CR) at Intuit, a multinational business and financial software company, where she oversaw the company’s ESG, sustainability and philanthropy programs. She launched Intuit’s first company-wide CR strategy and signature initiative, the Prosperity Hub, a multisector initiative focused on economic development in Intuit’s key communities.

Before joining Intuit, Nicolette ran global CR programming at SAP, a multinational enterprise application software company. She launched the company’s first accelerator for social impact entrepreneurs in emerging markets, including Brazil, Kenya and India. Before SAP, she was a consultant at Business for Social Responsibility (BSR), driving and facilitating multi sector initiatives focused on improving responsible supply chain practices in global supply chains. Nicolette started her career working as a legal advisor for the Dutch Council for Refugees, and as an international correspondent for Amnesty International, covering Western Africa. Nicolette was born in the Netherlands, has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Hague University, and a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam. She currently lives in the Bay Area, California.
