Presidio Graduate School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). WSCUC is one of six regional accrediting associations in the United States. WSCUC serves a diverse membership of public and private higher education institutions throughout California, Hawaii, and the Pacific as well as a limited number of institutions outside the United States. Through its work of peer review, based on standards agreed to by the membership, WSCUC encourages continuous institutional improvements and assures the membership and its constituencies, including the public, that accredited institutions are fulfilling their missions in service to their students and the public good.
As a member of WSCUC, PGS participates in periodic accreditation review. Through the review process, PGS demonstrates its commitment to developing and sustaining institutional capacity and its commitment to educational effectiveness.
On February 26, 2020, PGS received an action letter from WSCUC that reaffirms the university’s accreditation with a formal notice of concern. Interested parties may review the action letter and PGS’s response below.
