Tuition rates and fees for the 2017-2018 academic year are based on semester enrollment and are as follows for MBA, MPA, Dual Degree, and Certificate students:

San Francisco and PGS100 (Online):

Seattle Metro:

  • Full-time students: $33,750 yearly tuition (based on 10 units per term)
  • Part-time students: $16,875 yearly tuition (based on 5 units per term)

Seattle Hybrid:

  • Full-time students: $33,750 yearly tuition (based on 15 units per semester)

Fees:

Fees are used to support student activities and the operation of facilities. All fees appearing on the student account are payable whether or not the student plans to use these services or facilities related to those fees. Mandatory Student Fees are charged every semester and cannot be waived.

  • Facility Fee – $480 per semester (San Francisco location only).
    • The Facility fee is allocated to support the cost of maintaining satellite facilities, which provides students with options for a working space.
  • Administrative Fee – $150 per semester
    • The Administrative Fee covers record-keeping costs and provides student access to copyrighted material used in all academic programs.
  • Technology Fee – $75 per semester (All programs)
    • The Technology Fee covers acquisition, upgrading, and/or maintenance of technology used for academic and student support activities.
  • Classroom Materials Fee – $85 per semester (All programs except Online (PGS100))
    • The Classroom Materials Fee covers all in-class assessments and course readers throughout all academic programs.
  • Seattle Campus Orientation* – $750 first semester only (Seattle location only)
  • Monthly IslandWood Room and Board – Thursday-Sunday (based on quad occupancy three (3) nights per month) – $5,000 per semester (Seattle Hybrid MBA only)

* The Seattle location orientation fee is for the first year only. A minimum of a week’s notice is required to obtain a refund.

Note regarding San Francisco, Online, Seattle Metro Degree Programs, and Certificates:

All students are responsible for their own meals, lodging, and transportation costs and should prepare to spend an average of $50 to $200 on textbooks for each course.

Note regarding the Seattle Hybrid MBA:

All students are responsible for their own transportation costs and should prepare to spend an average of $50 to $200 on textbooks for each course. Students are responsible for their own meals and lodging when not on campus at IslandWood during monthly residencies.
