Chance Cutrano, MPA, of cohort C25, is the Director of Programs at Resource Renewal Institute (RRI), which advances innovative solutions to environmental challenges. He directs public land and agricultural initiatives, multimedia communication projects, and provides programmatic support to sponsorees. He brought RRI’s Fish in the Fields project to fruition while at Presidio Graduate School. The program advocates for growing fish in rice fields during the months that the fields are filled with water and sitting fallow – this year the program expanded from 1 acre to 45 acres. Chance was also recently elected to the Executive Committee of the Sierra Club’s SF Bay Area chapter for his years of service in Marin county, working with activists to eliminate single-use plastics and organizing the municipal electrical accounts to be powered by 100% renewable energy.
