Pamela J. Gordon
PositionDirector of Partnerships
I grew up in Silicon Valley in a family of engineers and backpackers. Consequently, it’s not a stretch that my career has been in the tech industry, focusing on sustainability. After graduating from San Jose State University with a BA in Business Management and working my way up to senior analyst at an electronics-industry consultancy, I founded Technology Forecasters Inc. to help electronics companies to build responsible and efficient supply chains.
When my book Lean and Green: Profit for Your Workplace and the Environment was published, I expanded my firm’s services to include profitable sustainability strategies. In 2016, I merged Technology Forecasters with the international environmental consulting firm Antea Group, where I led tech-industry sustainability projects. In these years, I trained more than one thousand product designers and students in Eco-Design and Circular Economy, wrote hundreds of articles, and gave keynotes and guest lecturers on the intersection of environmental-and-social sustainability and business value.
I direct Presidio Graduate School’s corporate and other organizational partnerships to foster global sustainability. In my role, I combine my expertise in management consulting, geekiness in the tech industry, passionate urgency for environmental sustainability to help business achieve more sustainable outcomes.
Outside work, I enjoy hiking and bicycling with my husband and son or hosting family and friends for vegetarian meals.
