Surabi Menon
Surabi Menon, MBA, of cohort C11, is the Vice President of Global Intelligence at the ClimateWorks Foundation. There, she supports climate philanthropy by discovering high-impact investment opportunities, supporting energy transitions by identifying benefits associated with reducing climate pollution, and by providing a global context for climate policy progress. She has served on the board of directors of Global Buildings Performance Network and was a Charter Member of the Science Advisory Board at the US Environmental Protection Agency. Previously, Surabi spent over 10 years as a climate scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and co-founded the Center for Environmental Awareness and Action (CEAA Earth), an environmental NGO. She also spent time as a climate scientist at Columbia University and NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies, and holds a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science.
