Tanya Bluford, MS

Adjunct Professor

Tanya is the Founder of Bluford Consulting LLC and supports organizations and companies to create a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable work environment where all can thrive. In addition to her DEI expertise, she brings to her consulting practice an extensive background in human resources, leadership development, and organizational design. She uses an assets-based approach to guide her clients through their diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) journey. She has over two decades of experience in the DEI field. She believes in leveraging assets to create sustainable and transformative DEI organizational change. She believes organizational change happens one individual, one heart and mind at a time. Additionally, she has an M.S. degree in Counseling Psychology from California State University, Hayward, Campus. She was raised in the Bay Area and currently lives in San Francisco with her husband and two teenage daughters. She is a San Francisco Chamber of Commerce member and volunteers to support breast cancer survivors.
