PositionDirector of Marketing and Communications
As Director of Marketing and Communications at Presidio Graduate School, I’m responsible for raising brand awareness, creating content that enriches and celebrates our amazing community of changemakers, accelerating growth, and deepening brand loyalty.
Passionate about education, I began my career in Washington, DC, as an aide to US Senator Claiborne Pell, working in the Senate Subcommittee on Education, Arts & Humanities, where I wrote speeches, ran Senate hearings, and immersed myself in the legislative process. Seeking opportunities to be closer to the impact of my work, I then served as Program Officer for the Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation during its first eight years, advancing our mission to help young people with disabilities to lead fuller, more productive lives. Since relocating to California, I’ve held marketing positions at leading Bay Area companies, including Financial Engines, eBay, PeopleSoft/Oracle, and Lending Club, and numerous Silicon Valley startups. I’ve worn many hats (content, community, product, customer success, and UX, to name a few), but am happiest when I’m building content, experiences, brands, and systems that help enable lasting positive change.
I graduated from Brown University, double-majoring in History and Economics, and later earned my MBA from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at UC-Berkeley. I love traveling, cooking, and blogging about work and pop culture.
